Dolly Parton Imagination Library

The LACF worked with the United Way to provide books to 116 Eastland students with a $3,000 donation. Each child receives 1 book a month.

H.I.T. Force

The Eastland Council of Churches received a gift from the LACF to support their Home Improvement Task Force Project (H.I.T. Force). The H.I.T. Force assists people in need with home improvement projects.

Cornucopia

The LACF gifted their initial grant to the Lanark Cornucopia Committee. The funds were put toward enhancing the Lanark Farmers Market which is currently held on Tuesdays from 3-6PM from May-October.

Lanark Park Board

The 2019 Lanark Park updates that featured new sidewalks, playground equipment, and sod was one of the projects LACF supported to better enhance the enjoyment in the community.

Local Research

In February 2020 the LACF surveyed community members to study the needs in the Lanark area. Participants were entered into a drawing to win a $250 grant to pass on to any local nonprofit of their choice. Our winner, Kyle Martz, chose to give the money to the Eastland Council of Churches General Fund where it was used to financially aid residents in need.

Lanark Transformers

Provided assistance in funding beautification projects in downtown Lanark, specifically the hanging flower baskets and business banners.
